Rob and Kathryn have things moving for this years reunion on Blue Mountain at Nizhoni Campground. We drove up Friday with Rob in his police vehicle (with Grandma in the lock up cage) to see what the layout was at Nizhoni Campground and how the site looked. Even though lower parts of the mountain looked pretty dry, it still looked green up there. There isn't a lot of water in Dry Wash just south of the camp ground, but since they aren't releasing irrigation water this year, there may still be some by the reunion. There are lots of tables for eating together. I'll plan to bring several table cloths we can use and reuse.
The Rest Rooms are just across the Parking Lot.
There is also lots of nice shade which will be great. The road around the
campsites is .4 miles which might be a good distance for a kiddo race.
There is lots of good places for serious Dutch oven cooking...so get that charcoal ready! Also a long table for serving. The water isn't turned on up there yet, but hopefully it will be...if not we may need to haul water up.

Thurs. supper: Mom and Dad (let us know who will be there by 7 PM)
Friday dinner: Rob
We found some nice surprises when we drove up. There was a volley ball sand court in place, as well as horseshoes, so we'll bring a ball up and horseshoes.
For those into pinecone crafts and war games, there is also plenty of ammunition.
