Mother's Day visit to Blue Mountain

Here are some of the things you can expect at the Guest Ranch on Blue Mountain.  Hans Hurst orchestrated a big cement addition seating for program, for his Eagle Scout project which is so nice for large groups and new this year.

Even though the spring run off is still going strong the trees and grass are starting to green up.  It will be beautiful and lush by June 18 for the reunion.

This is the area where we'll do our cooking and eat.

The best camping will be near the pavillion as it will be grassier and nearer the bathrooms.  Large new restrooms have multiple modern stalls as well as showers.  The ones by the lodge are all locked up and disconnected.

If you don't want to set up a tent, there are several small cabins on the east side of the lodge, with 3 single beds each. The back room of the lodge has a double bed and bunk beds.
There is a volley ball sand pit and basketball court, plus we'll have quite a few outdoor games and nature hikes.
